BREASTFEEDING IN WORK

Do you see anything wrong with a woman breastfeeding in the workforce?

An Australian senator has made political history by becoming the first politician to breastfeed in the nation’s parliament.

Senator Larissa Waters fed her two-month-old daughter during a vote yesterday as she returned to work in the upper house Senate for the first time since giving birth.

Taking to her twitter account she said:  “So proud that my daughter Alia is the first baby to be breastfed in the federal Parliament! We need more #women & parents in Parli,”

Let’s say a woman who works in an office – brings her son in because she is breastfeeding – is it acceptable to breastfeed in work? Or do you think it’s just gone too far at this stage and the breastfeeding in parliament is simply a stunt?

Would you have any issue with a woman breastfeeding in work?
